How it is put together
Four pieces: core runtime, your plugins, Workbench, Docker. Widgets and compositions live here so the homepage can stay short.
Core
The runtime: Fastify backend, Vue frontend orchestrator, CLI that boots Docker. You do not assemble this stack for every product.
Plugins
Almost all application code. A plugin is frontend widgets plus backend models, services, and routes for one piece of business logic.
Workbench
The admin app. Operators compose screens and wire what happens next. Optional as a package, included by create-raclette-app, strongly recommended.
Docker
Development and production share the same container story.
Widgets, compositions, interaction links
This is how Workbench is put together.
Widgets
Smallest UI plus logic unit. A table, a form, a panel – reusable, owned by a plugin.
Compositions
Declarative layouts of widgets. A page or a modal is a composition, not a hardcoded Vue route you maintain forever.
Interaction links
Declare what happens: open this composition, with these params, as a page or a modal. Wiring without a tangle of event handlers.
